What MAPP is

MAPP (Mothers Against Public Pooping) is a free, community-made map of restrooms. Listings, ratings, tags and notes are added by members of the public. By using the site you agree to these notes.

Information is provided as-is

Listings are crowd-sourced and reviewed only lightly. MAPP does not guarantee that any restroom exists, is open, is clean, is safe, is accessible, or that a tag is correct. Things change. Use your own judgement, and check before relying on a listing — especially in an urgent situation.

Being listed is not permission

A listing does not mean you have a right to use that restroom. Many are on private property or are for customers only. Respect posted signs, staff instructions, opening hours and the law. Do not trespass.

Door codes

MAPP does not publish door codes. A listing may carry a "Door code · ask inside" tag, which only means a code is needed — ask the staff. Please do not post codes in notes; we remove them. If you own or manage a property and want a listing changed or removed, use Contact an admin in the account menu on the map.
